Google and the Justice Division have made their opening salvos in court docket.
The federal government is attempting to make this case about Google imposing management over a market, with DOJ counsel Julia Tarver Mason Wooden arguing that “Google acquired its technique to success.”
Google, in the meantime, says the swimsuit is concerning the authorities unlawfully forcing it to take care of rivals. It claims it’s not consolidating three markets, simply working in a single market with a purchase and promote aspect.
